Using Text-to-Speech in Play Widget

Before you start, ensure that you have at-least one added with 'Text-to-speech' service enabled.

You can easily use Text-to-Speech in Play Widget. Just follow these steps:

  1. In any Inbound/Outbound Flow, drag-and-drop the Play Widget. Double click it to open it's configurations

  2. Select 'Text-to-Speech' and click 'Next'.

  3. In the Cloud Account - Select the Cloud Account from the list of Amazon or Google Cloud accounts that have 'Text-to-Speech' service enabled.

  4. Languages - Select the language to be used for the output.

  5. Voice: Select the voice to be used.

  6. You can use Plain Text or to type your voice script.

  7. Click on 'Test Play' to try it out!

For Google Cloud Services account, you'll have more options! Such as, you can use Standard or Wavenet voices and change pitch and speed easily.
